AAA's 2026 Your Driving Costs gives fuel and maintenance per mile for every vehicle class, from 14.5¢ for an electric compact SUV to 35.7¢ for a half-ton pickup. We worked out how many miles an e-bike has to replace before it pays for itself against each.
